Travelling to South Tyrol by bus is cheap, comfortable and stress-free. Travelling via the Brennero pass, the comfortable bus stops in Bressanone, Bolzano and Merano.
The easiest way to get to Merano and its surroundings is by Eurocity (EC) from Munich. After changing trains in Bolzano, it's just ten minutes from Merano on the Venosta Valley railway to Tel station. We will of course be happy to collect you and your luggage from there.
The South Tyrolean airline SkyAlps flies directly to Bolzano from several major cities. From there, you have the option of travelling on with a hire car or a transfer service. You can find more information about air travel and services here.
For a short break on the long drive over the Brennero, Giovo or Resia mountain passes, we have plenty of parking spaces right next to the hotel, the best pizza far and wide and delicious South Tyrolean dishes. On the terrace or in the restaurant, you can recharge your batteries for the rest of your journey or quickly check your emails using the Wi-Fi.
